Nose has lightly grilled lemon, wet limestone, oxidized green apple peel, minor oak char and vanilla creme. Palate has day-old lemon zest, yellow apple pulp, dried white florals, slight lanolin and dry earth. Mild acidity, just doing wonderful tonight. Our last bottle of 2016

Nose has freshly scrubbed lemon, wet limestone (light), green apple peel and vanilla creme. Palate has lemon zest, watermelon rind, yellow apple pulp, dried white florals and dry earth. Decanted 2+ hours, needs more time, distinct evolution in our glasses this evening, all towards improvement. Paired with sous vide scallops with a final pan sear on the stove (rain tonight so no grilling) and fried polenta all rested on top of lettuce/arugula from our garden. (A cold frame in New England is your best friend for early season crops!) Pairing was quite nice, next time with this wine, need a more citrus biased vinaigrette dress on the greens. A solid QPR buy at $22! 2016 Burgundy, buy and enjoy all you can! (Update: We sampled the 2017, it's very consistent, buy and enjoy either.)

At this price point I’ll take a chablis over this wine any time.

Minerality and petrol on the nose. Slightly effervescent. Bright finish.

On the cusp of being too sweet. But the citrusy tart brings it back to end as a well finished, sweeter but not overbearing white.
