Great Pinot. Nice ripe red fruit for an Oregon wine with racy acidity.

This wine really should be better, considering the price and the fact that it's from Oregon. I found it harsh, and the strong alcohol taste was not pleasant. As other reviewers stated, it did mellow out after a day. However, I am too impatient for that and wanted to enjoy immediately.

Surprisingly good for a big brand doing a beloved grape in a beloved region. Big, joyful, unsophisticated, and that’s all working. Red cherry notes, good and present tannin, esp. for a Pinot, balanced acid, a bit of forest floor, and hints of vanilla. Maybe a tad overpriced, but no doubt an enjoyable wine.
