2014 vintage. Blend of valley floor (mostly Coombsville with Rutherford) and sourced fruit from mountain AVAs (Atlas Peak, Mount Veeder). Bold and powerful with juicy black fruits, slightly austere tannic structure and good length. Should age very well. Very good value for Napa standards.

What?! 8.9??? Has everyone lost their mind?! It's like someone scrubbed a suckling and roasted it all day in the sexy earth and then put tapenade on it.

Good cab flavor. Bit Smoky, notes of anise and some Berry flavors.

Sometimes you need a Napa Cab, great vintage, aged nicely, could've waited another 10 years, wild berries, tobacco, black olive, 2005

Another vintage of yawn. Great nose but a short finish, black fruit, lots of green pepper and black tea. The alcohol is a little out of balance too. If it were $20 it would be fine. But it's not.

Deep garnet red. Dark nose with layers of spices, cocoa, black cherries and dust. Medium tannins (6/10) and well integrated. Medium plus to full bodied with notes of anise, black currants, cinnamon and dark cocoa. Drinking very well right now. Drink till 2018.

Deep ruby red color with dark edges and aromas of dark fruit, dark berries and spice. On the palate ripe cherry, raspberry and blackberry with cacao, leather and oak. Rich mouth fee with smooth tannins, complex with the fruit and gentle acidity. The ending had the right touch of oak. Went great with my porterhouse.

Nice wine for the bucks. Their older vintages expressed more handcrafting....
