Dark fruits, coffee, tar, leather. A touch more Brett in this bottle than I’d hoped. Still nice.

Very smooth and mature. Hints in tobacco, balanced with some fruit touch of blackberries on the finish. Improves with air. Very nice BORDEAUX

Date night with Cinnamon and steak & claret!!!! I bought this bottle on prearrival and tonight was a great night to open it. The wine had it all; animal earth, rich silky texture and no heaviness whatsoever. Paired with chef Marco's 16oz. Piemontese ribeye steak it was a great experience.

Bramble, blueberry, plum, graphite, leather, anise, dusty tannins. Nice length. Lots of energy.

Great way if starting to see 2016 out.

Visually, this wine is dense and has not moved. Roasted coffee, barrel toast, licorice and cherries on the nose. On the palette, it's tight and still very tannic. Notes of raisins, saddle leather and prunes are evident. Not as fine as we anticipated, but excellent nonetheless.

Double trouble. Short decant, tight and reluctant first 30 minutes with not much depth, then opened beautifully and put on weight and complexity. A front load of cassis, then bruised plum and warm wet earth. Suggest 3 hour decant to let it strut.

My first rating using the Android app. Not much difference. Anyway...about the wine. Solid!! Just terrific. May have been able to drink much later. This is a 15 year old wine after all. Decanted for 45 minutes and it was silky, and had that old world musky nose that you'd find in an old wine cave. Loved this wine.

Surprisingly young in color and development. Solid St Julien. Classic cedar, cigar box, black and red fruit, some bell pepper, judicious use of French oak. First time having 2000. I'd expect a bit more complexity considering the vintage/house
