Pale Lemon in colour. Muted aromas of citrus but with time Lemon cream. Oak is perfectly balanced giving a creamy nuance on the palate finishing with a nice cleansing acidity. A blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Semillon. Not overly complex but is an excellent summer time white. Short term drinking.

Tried it at a tasting and bought one for cellar. Legendary wine, said that in the 18th century was introduced to Sultan of Constantinople's palace b/c of its clarity and called "mineral water from Carbonnieux", defying Islamic law. Pale lemon-green with pronounce aromas of tropical and stone fruits with herb notes. On the palate flavors of melon, mango, apple, green peppers and a crisp mineral edge. Medium+ length, balanced acidity, ending with a fruit, citrus mineral character. Nice, will age.

Very sleek and elegant, beautifully integrated oak. Slightly reductive notes of slate, hazelnuts, celery seed, white peach and key lime. Wonderful mineral flourishes in a very fresh style.

Well the bottle is empty on “opening night” so that says something. I would definitely try another vintage, the 2017 is a WE Cellar Selection. The oak on this Sauvignon Blanc / Semillon blend is perfect, adding a understated chamomile lift to the finish. It’s the mid palate that perhaps lacks intrigue, but it’s very drinkable.

Brighter than expected. Nice aroma and pleasing citrus. Slightly funky finish.

A bit too cold and probably too young. After some additional air it started to reveal its qualities. Looks like a promising wine
