In-House, Corporate holiday party... Hot nose, campfire on the palate, actually very attractive.

The only islay whisky of the evening. My first time trying this one and this is now a favorite. Very elegant style and one of the less peaty and smoky Islays.

Definitely Islay, but sophisticated or well balanced. For me, second best after Lagavulin.

Wonderfully clean and crisp on the nose with a smooth peat and touch of sweetness. Has an easy taste with some vegetation and sweetness holding through until a bit of spice and smoke on the end. Oil up front quickly gives way to a lighter body throughout. Paints a picture of a rainy campfire. A very nice Islay all around.

Sweet vanilla notes from fine oak. Mild pepper meats that gives a sting.

Salty air, a smidge of peat, a touch of smoke, and slighty sweet finish. Elegant. An Oat cake and Lockerbie Cheddar would be great, but the lemon Girl Scout cookies will have to do. Thanks Ailee!
