Cuvée RR for Rhinehessen Riesling. This is barely off-dry, beautifully integrated with firm but not overbearing acidity offset by wonderful fruit - green apple, pear, lime, acacia and, emerging in the glass, a haunting level of pineapple. Long finish, just a lovely wine with food or by itself

A complete mindf_ck. Beautiful orchard fruit on the nose...apples, peaches. Vouvray-ish nose and texture. A little sweet on the uptake, but finishes dry. Wide, expansive palate, quince, herbs, salty, minty, and limey finish. You don't even notice the acid, because of everything else going on--but it's there. This begs to be cellared. Great stuff. Had with Memphis' fried chicken and collard greens.

A little CO2 on opening, but other than that, gorgeous all around. My first 2015 and off to a great start !
