Looking through the garnet heart of this wine is like looking through all the history and tradition of winemaking in Rioja Alavesa in the last twenty years...deep. It has lovely warm fireside scents of smoke, sweet clove and paprika. Still has plenty of red fruit in the mouth and the most amazing part is the finish...very long and pleasing.
