A lunch for the folks who have been extremely generous and influential in my wine journey. Salon always needs 20 + years from vintage. As expected no where near maturity.A shy nose of apple , pear and flint. On the palate more round than linear. Acidity is very good but not as assertive as some previous vintages .A coiled spring.

Conrad Green
A gorgeous nose. Yellow flowers, corn, a super light toast. On the palate seamless and delicious and polished. A hint of oyster shells and limestone. This is in a superb place right now

A beautiful fresh nose. Limestone, white flowers, hints of the seashore. A clean berry fruit flavor, rounded and achingly gentle but real presence behind it all. Subtle but delicious.

This is really tightly coiled. Lemon (verbena?), steeliness, lime and chalk. Real purity and clarity on the palate but super tightly wound. This needs time but there’s quality there.
