Deep, staining ruby with a wide, cherry rim. Huge and thick initially, it belies the 13.5 alcohol but never goes over the top. Blackberry, cinnamon, eucalyptus, and light oak on the nose. Round tannins with amazing acidity and a super silky mouthfeel. Milk chocolate, soft vanilla, tart cherries, and some funk on the finish. This is absolutely astounding. Super tight and closed so it needs plenty of time but you’ll be rewarded for your patience.
