Bernard Baudry is a legend of the Loire Valley known for his superb single vineyard Cabernet Francs, but his ultra limited production Chinon Blanc "Croix Boissée" is the real unicorn of the lineup. Comprised of 100% Chenin Blanc, and coming from white limestone soils, it carries with it a gorgeous texture, stone fruits, smoke, spice, and a finish that does not let up! Without a doubt, this is one of the great value white wines in the world capable of developing a kaleidoscope of secondary characteristics if allowed to age.
