Proper Lambrusco: dry, inky black in colour with great concentration of black cherry fruit & bright acidity. Sublime with a platter of different salumi (pork is best!)

Joyous w fine bubbles, straddles between red fruits & bitterness, a classic old maker, even the bottle is like an old tank speaking of its fine pedigree. Oh yeah, it costs less than 15$ in my local store & was rated #1 in NYT in '12. Its crafted, it bring happiness, def does not deserve the petty scores so far on Delectable, viva Lambrusco!

Last night's celebration wine post Harvard Art Museum concert! Starts out clean with tiny bubbles and then starts to get really bright on the back of the tongue which slowly moves forward and envelopes the entire tongue. Definitely a fun wine to celebrate with! Paired this with a chocolate cupcake which did not enhance it so will have to keep experimenting with this one food wise...
