Seems like I’m on a Pinot Meunièr streak. A cherry and almond nose. Similar to the Dehu the aromas are a nose magnet. Like a vice on the palate , great mineral and fruit interplay that screamed for food. Wish I knew how they age , certainly appears to have the raw materials to do so.

Much different than 7 months ago. Rose and citrus on nose, brioche, lemon custard, pastry, cantaloupe and honeydew on palate, long finish. Like my kids, this wine grew up really fast.

2012. Pear, apricot, blood orange, and how do I say it, um, just a bunch of other stuff. Mineral, tight, long finish, young. Piercing acidity. My kind of Champagne. Pinot Meunier.
