My oldest bottle of L’Alchimiste and it didn’t disappoint. Anne Sophie Dubois is a talented wine maker. More like Burgundy PN then your typical Cru Bojo. No Carbonic and fermented in used barrels. Light in color but intense red berries and hint of wet dirt. Delicious.

Waxy red berries, cherry pie, mentos on the nose. Black cherries, clean minerality, hint of flat cola, wet earth. Energetic and vibrant but easy going, integrated mellow tannins.

Huge fan of this wine. Biodynamic and all natural. the winemaker trained in Volnay and it shows. No carbonic, and aged in neutral oak barrels. Tart red fruit, earthy and complex. Will get even better with a little age.
