Wanted to like this but the sulfur free thing is working against it here. Just tastes a little wild and natural for my taste. A lot of the goodness is hiding behind these off notes.

I have deep love for the ‘14’s of beaujolais. Needless to say I had high hopes for this. It didn’t deliver. Acid was there, but the fruit was a little stewed (storage issue?) and it had to be chilled to 10c to take off the edge of brett. It was good, but not as good as i wanted it to be.

2014 en 2016. On ouvre, on goûte : un réduction impressionnante, effrayante ! À croire une attaque de Brett. On épaule, on attend 20 heures, on goûte à nouveau, dans la peur c'est mieux. C'est bien. Cependant devenu devenu un poil perlé... Gênant. Et ca laisse dans la bouche une impression de paradis beaujolais (jus de raisin en début de fermentation). Pas à la hauteur de mes attentes, surtout après le splendide Fleurie de chez lui.
