A very special wine, with great people at an iconic restaurant. Autumn leaves, raspberries, elegant yet feral.

I typically love these wines, but either this one had a bottle issue or the winemaking slipped. Volatile Acidity (vinegar) made it unfortunately undrinkable. I hope it was just our bottle.

Wow! This was a Rec from Pascaline and it did not disappoint. A wine of great intensity and structure with good spice and length. Need to buy more of this producer!

2005 vintage. At Texture. On the verge of deep ruby. Big powerful whiff of smoke, reductiveness, black fruits, sweet spice and Oakwood. On the palate rich and spicy, deep concentration, noticeable tannic structure. Medium plus finish. This is another big wine from this producer. Not really my style: hammer to crack a nut stuff.

A nice tasty wine, but, for me too funky... Too expensive too.
