Deep Crimson but bright and cheery. Spicy nose of nutmeg, touch of menthol. Bouncing with acidity, perfectly ripe fruit and great line and length. Not an awesome wine but clean and bright and wonderfully made. For this I have to give it a gold.

From the second I opened this it showed reductive signs of game and asphalt. As it opened up I began getting less menthol/eucalyptus and more pepper. This wine lasted two more days as I kept trying it; I cannot wait to find this producer again and serve it with a proper pairing.
