Gros Ventre Cellars Baranoff Vineyard Pinot Noir 2013

$50

The Baranoff Vineyard is a 3-acre parcel overlooking Laguna de Santa Rosa in the heart of Sebastopol. The lagoon acts as a conveyor for the coastal fog which ebbs and flows throughout the growing season, creating moderate temperatures and cooling breezes. The 2013 offers a core of red fruit aromas woven with subtle green tea, clove, and tilled soil notes. At only 65 cases produced, this is the smallest production since our first vintage in 2009. Production: 65 Clones: Calera, Swan, 113, 115, 459, 667, 777 Filtration: Unfined & Unfiltered Elevage: 18 mont

Breaking out the Baranoff for day 1 of the Fall Release. Bright red fruits, dried herbs, dirt. A pretty lil thing if I do say so myself. FYI...I may be a bit biased.

Probably should have cellared for a few years, but we couldn't wait. All wine. Zero bullshit. Greatness @Chris Pittenger.
