Getting flabby. Least liked wine in flight of 8 for consumers.

Starting to lose its fraicheur now. It’s all about vanilla, butter, hazelnut and mango now.

Opened it 24hrs ago: no problemo. Really a delicious bottle of Chardonnay... Apricot and pears, succulent and mineral, juicy and spicy, floral and fruity. All this, and then some elegant hints of grilled lemon, smoking gun and tropical orchids. A gorgeous wine..!

Color of egg white, with a slight hue of green. Nose is Sprite and buttery, dry fragrant, some fresh flowering note, some saline note, and a bit spice. Nose is really nice. Taste is zesty and mostly dry, with flavors of honey and flower, a bit roasted nuts, oaky, a bit Sprite, and a bit buttery. The fruit note like pineapples and lemon are complimentary. The aftertaste is a bit short with some intriguing oaky note, but overall very enjoyable.

As good a Chardonnay as I've had from California. Very pretty. Not buttery. Meursault-like. I know; strong words.

Another year down the road for this wine. And it's still wonderful! But it's slowly moving away from the other typical Cali Chards. Today I felt it is starting to act like a GG-riesling... Candied citrus, lemony acidity, rock dust, saline minerality. As it gradually warms up, the oak-treatment is getting more obvious, vanilla and warm pastry show up, giving way to the more Chardonnay-like personality. Great stuff!

Served blind... Marvelous wine! Concentrated and light on its feet. Minerality, vegetal, focus. Loved it!
