This may me the absolute best rose Champagne I have ever had. 2002 in Burgundy is my favorite vintage of that region in recent years and it has done great things in Champagne as well. The depth is off the charts, though it shows no more weight than needed to perceive the pleasure that this brings to the palate with a lush and sensual texture, perfect red berry and citrus fruits. The acidity flickers through the long and exhilarating finish.
