On to the reds. My first time with a full bottle , previously only had  “pours”. I am judging this wine for what it is vs what I prefer to drink. Clearly a new world wine but not a fruit bomb . Wonderful concentration of fruit on the nose and palate . Of course oak is there but it is handled perfectly. Alcohol is shy. A beautiful satisfying wine that is so easy to drink with our steaks. I would love to taste this with another 10 years in the bottle.

Vino Joe

Velvety smooth but still underwhelmed me. Very dark color and a bit inward. Clearly an Italian expression of Merlot with earth and chewy fruit but I think I will sit on this a while longer next time.
