Great blend of Sangiovese, Syrah and merlot. Blue and red fruits, rustic yet elegant with medium tannins and acidity. Will be coming back to this wine over and over.

Out with son and wife and son buying dinner for father’s day - salute you son and so proud of you - as such the wine was a little better than I expected - all smiles

Sexy and silky wine that showed incredibly versatility at dinner as everyone thought it paired beautifully and nobody ate the same.

Great Tuscan! Red Currant, smoke, vanilla, flowers, blackberry! Still very youthful

Nose is quite alluring with nice mix of berry and cherry, cassis, anise, vanilla, and violet. Palate is a bit more jammy than the nose suggested, but has enough bright acidity to give it a lift. Supple, and just a bit off-dry. Soft tannins. Really nice, but a bit underwhelmed.

Nose of tobacco, cherries, leather. Fairly full bodied for an Italian wine. Fairly high amount of tannins, short finish.

Less tannic than I was expecting for a 2015, this is drinking well. Quiet nose of sour cherries, plum, leather, wet leaves and earth. Med bodied and acidic in the mouth with subtle fruit and earth flavors. Opened up more on day two but not as much as I’d hoped. Had with home-made reubens in the cast iron skillet. This was unmistakably Italian despite being mostly Merlot and Syrah, and needed food to be enjoyed. Decent bottle.
