Plan B! Nice bottle, although took it probably 30 minutes to kind of blow off a lil bit of funk. Poured with a slight violet hue. The initial notes are floral, black cherry, clove, sweet tobacco and herb. The clove note blows off the bottle and replaced with a little more tobacco. Entry predominantly black cherry, sweet tobacco, and herbs. The middle of the wine has a bit of a green touch to it. The finish of this wine was a bit more acidic than I thought. Nice wine, and glad I have more back vintages as this 11 is a TOUCH young.

This wine is from Campania - a blend of Aglianico and Piedirosso. First time I have this blend - I'm amazed by the structure and complexity. This wine is deep purple, lead pencil, tobacco, black cherries, and integrated tannins. Definitely has all the right ingredients to age nicely.
