Pale amber; medium intensity aromas of peach, nectarine, fresh apricot, golden raspberries, pineapple, mango, dried apricot, syrup, honey, subtle blossom, white ginger; medium sweet, medium acid, high alcohol, full body, medium intensity flavors of canned peaches, nectarines, fresh apricot, golden raspberries, ginger, honey, syrup, medium finish; good due to fresh fruit flavors, balanced acid alcohol and body, integrated sugar and alcohol

Wonderful surprise, a port with personality, high in alcohol but tasty, great pairing for a Cuban cigar

This rating is for Porto Tonico! 25% White Port, 75% Tonic Water, Lime Wedge. Good grief this is the way to live.

For people who love the taste of port but who don't want it as heavy or strong feeling as most ports, give this a try. Much lighter in body but the same rich, nutty, subtly sweet taste the best ports offer. The finish lingers forever, in a good way. For a dessert wine that will fit the bill at half the cost of most ports, this one is a winner.

Tried for ages to work out the date on this scratched up label 19xx, but it's not 199x or 198x, how old is it?! - I think in the end it says 19%. I acquired at least 5 years ago from CPR, maybe Poston. Tastes delicious - no idea if it's supposed to get better or worse but it's sweet and smooth and makes blue cheese incredible. Also surprisingly good with Jaffa cakes. Drank it largely in front of westerns with a baby asleep on my belly.

Trying this both ways as an aperitif. Interesting side by side. Really enjoyed it with a splash of tonic and a lemon twist
