Decanted and left in cellar for 2 hours before consumption. Darker ruby color, not showing much age. Sweet fruit nose. Notes of raspberries and black fruit, slate stone, blueberries and some nice floral notes. Nicely balanced in the mouth. Has a feminine quality to it with its sweetness of the fruit, which matches well with the Gevrey structure and backbone that has softened. This is in a good spot now but probably can improve with some incremental age that can create more complexity. Has the fruit and balance to last a lot longer.
