Alec Seysses is a big believer in his ‘06, says it’s better than the ‘05. Still, a group at our table found the intensity of the ‘10 made it the Clos de la Roche to put away. The ‘14 had large support as delicious and most enjoyable at present. Ripe, dense, and quite open was the ‘19 with a huge future. The ‘17 Clos de la Roche was also served. Sneaking into the picture, and maybe my favorite of the night, was the ‘17 Clos Saint-Denis (see score).
