Lovely, soil driven with plenty of grace and charm. A more fine and focused example from Janasse, who’s wines I usually find on the more contemporary side of things. Red fruited with lovely notes of warm stones, animal, garrigue and flowers. Approachable and full of joy like many ‘14s, very soft tannin

Tasted next to the 2014 Charvin. This was obviously dark fruited in comparison...and perhaps a bit more ripe? Not quite as tannic. The future isn’t quite as clear on this one but it’s certainly a fine glass at this moment in them.
