The nose shows tar, cedar, oak, vanilla, coffee, black currant, raspberries, blackberries... This is very complex and it keeps expanding and evolving with air. Magic! The palate is superb too, there is a massive acid backbone that powers a majestic palate that shows black currant and mocha notes. Great width, superb, silky mouthfeel with a bit of a thick, suple layer, then the palate expands into what could be described as a sphere and tannins kick in leaving a dusty layer that tends to dry up the mouthfeel. The finish is extremely long with black currant and mocha notes and that drying layer. This is a great wine tasting experience. 10 years and kicking! It could hold for another 10 without any problem I reckon.

True to the region. This wine has a nice body and the structure is very nice. It supports the high. I so gets phenolic hints on the finish, but overall I enjoyed this wine!
