Ultimately, it’s an entry level wine from a very good house. Hard to beat for the price. But... no finish. Zero complexity. Table wine at best.

Lacking depth. It’s super flat and one-dimensional. No evidence of tannins or acidity. A great entry-level wine. The flavour is good, there’s just not a lot to it. Either way, at the price, give me a case of it.

Peppery and fruity on the palate. Paired nicely with bacon wrapped grilled pork tenderloin.

First, this is a real value and solid wine for less than $15, a Tempranillo with about 15% Mazuelo and Granacha. Deep Ruby with lively aromas of red fruits and spicy tobacco. On the palate red plums and fresh cherry flavors with cacao and tobacco notes. Soft fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit and sweet spice. Over 3 million cases produced which may cause some variation among bottles, but the one I tasted was great!

Easy-drinking Rioja under $10 at Costco. Simple and straightforward, less oak influence than other Riojas, upfront dark red fruit with the Crianza designation. Simple but decent table wine.

Nose of fresh red strawberry, and flowery with a hint of vanilla. Slightly dry, but juicy and a full mouthfeel. More vanilla on the palette, with ripe red fruits. This is quite nice!
