Silly billy! The vinobles K wines are insane right now. Props to @jean chrisophe meyrou and the team. This is decadent and fresh. Modern and yet classic. hedonistic but elegant. It’s like the right bank met Calistoga. Awesome stuff

Now this wine is ready to drink, unlike 5 years ago when I first tasted it. It still needs a lot of air to open up. Bitter, deep brooding black fruit and licorice. Bitter chocolate and smooth tannins in finish. A paradigm of Merlot from Bordeaux. A great buy now.

Blue and dark fruit with menthol, violets and slight notes of caramel and liquorice. That vivid and lush fruit is on thenpalate as well, a rich and full texture, envelopping and agreeable tannins make this wine approachable and impressive for that price, even if it’s not a grand right bank name. 90-91

Lovely red blend with medium tannins. May need some more time.

Was really solid with a ribeye. Definitely a ton of age and tannin left in this guy but after decanting and a couple hours opened up. Big ripe dark fruit. The character you’d expect from a Bordeaux. Not amazing but solid, especially for the price.

Solid and modern style St. Emilion. Still tannic and oaky. Waiting for a few years should do good for the vintage.

Spicy, peppery Merlot blend, with a crunchy tannic finish. A very enjoyable wine, good with lamb or strong cheese.

Barrel Sample. The quality here is on the up and up! Hard to believe this is still a value gem because of its meager price! Highly suggested. 93-95pts
