Merlot (50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (41%), Cabernet Franc (7%) and Petite Verdot (2%). Intense (almost black) purple color. Bold aromas of earth, forest floor, iodine and black cherry. Black cherry/cassis on the pallet with hints of tobacco, earth and graphite. Extremely full bodied and well structured. Chewy tannins and a smokey finish. 14.5% alcohol. The wine is well balanced because everything is large about this one.
