2008, A great Bordeaux that needs more time to reach its peak. It was decanted a bit before sipping but not enough. The wine had a deep Bordeaux color, the nose is full of black current, chocolate , coffee and smokey earth, it has a full body with firm tannin that needs to open up and will soften with time, long dry finish. My score 90+, drink 2016-2022

Dark almost black color, tar tobacco leathery nose, rich luscious chewy fruit with gentle tannins and great structure. Very enjoyable now but great for the next 5-10 years.

Une bouche riche et généreuse, puissante et élégante, beaucoup de classe et un équilibre exemplaire avec une excellente finale, très beau 2008. 93-94

Black currant aroma and flavor is quite comfortable. Enough tanning, which is getting calm over time. Mid - full and 2008 is not too close to full compared with 2010, so it has elegancy. But more than one hour decanting should be necessary. 2 hours, much more fruity with spiciness and lots of tanning. @4000, Winano - BBQ G, 190917-190928
