Graphite, dark fruit, damp earth, and light cedar. Would hold for 7-10 more years. A baby now.

A very expressive wine, like the youngest sibling of the family it is precocious and reserved at the same time. He has his father's stature, his mother's eyes, and the unmistakable o'Brian nose: bonfires, almost peppery blackcurrent, with hints of fine calfskin leather, and freshly rolled Cuban cigars. Looking forward to drinking it in 10 years' time.

I missed “La Chapelle” when I bought this, and couldn’t figure out why it was so cheap!!!

Solid but reading reviews I think I expected more. It is well balanced but fruit and other flavors were not as vibrant.
