Beautiful earthy and savory notes. Ripe red and black fruits. The tannins are dusty and chewy, great structure and super long finish. Really nice!

Surprisingly accessible for such a young wine, still has a long way to go. Love the signature the ten percentage Petit Verdot gives.

Very young but good. With time should show very well. 2010 vintage.

agree with the 94 points from RP. A reference for Haut-Medic. Full-bodied, it combines power and elegance.

Oak, caramel, with cassis and cocoa. Aggressive tannins tied in with red plums. Lots of evolution to come!

“Many a trip continues long after movement in time and space have ceased.” John Steinbeck Wine - it can take you places. Last night reminiscing about recent Paris travels so I pulled this beaute to enjoy with a friend. @55Seventy Chateau La Lagune is located in the appellation of Haut-Medoc. This House was classified as a Third Growth in 1855. It was sold to the Frey family in 2000. The winemaker/owner, Caroline Frey, produced her first vintage in 2004. Her wines are described as having finesse, elegance and harmony. The 2010 is a blend of 55% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot.

Very good to drink now, open and accessible. Tastes like a higher grade left bank, dark fruits, polished tannins and medium bodied. Recommended and can be drink now or kept for another 5 to 7 years.

I wish I had more of this before it was gone. Decanted for 2 hours. Black frui and earth. Nice acidity. Smooth tannins. This could easily go another 10+ years.
