$50 Deep ruby. Big nose. Notes of rasberry, blackberry, spice, vanilla, brown sugar, and molasses on the nose. Well balanced. Bone dry. Medium acid, medium tannins, medium alcohol. Full bodied. Delicious! Notes of black currant, blackberry, and pepper on the tongue. Very smooth. Definitely buy again! First time drinking a Grand Cru! First time drinking a Bordeaux!

2018 vintage. Open approx an hour. Simple, undistinguished nose. Fleshy medium body. Bunches of dark and Rainier cherry flavors along with the ubiquitous dark plum but that’s about it currently. Definitely not flashy nor a standout right now. Needs some time to come together. Not one of the showier 2018’s.
