Drinking perfectly for the vintage. This has huge black cherry and licorice with a powerful mineral finish. There's nothing like Saint-Emillion merlot but Figeac also uses an unusually high percentage of Cabernet which makes this wine bold and dense.

Very good wine. A lot of red fruit and meats in the wine. Amazing the balance that it has at a very young age. Licorice and twisters around the wine. Will keep this wine for at least another 10 years.
