Vintage 2010 | smell with a terroir impression, cherries, a hint of balsamico. Elegance with a velvety structure.

Lovely wine. Needs years to fully show its potential.

2010. Really good Bordeaux, drinking well now. Medium to full body, with a deeper red hue and some brick edges. A full Bordeaux package: (mostly) red cherry fruit with persistent minerals and some sweet barnyard flavors and aromas. Love the funk - would be a classic if a bit more richness and fruit concentration. $75? at WL.

Tannic at the outset, then smoothed out, dark berries, leather, black pepper, quite lovely.
