Bought for a tasting, forgot to do the notes. Cassis, mint, cigar box, olive tapenade, nice acid. Threw some sediment, so needed to decant. Very nice.

Red fruit then purple fruit emerge through the midpalate. Vibrant, with plenty going on. Attractive.

Tasted at Chateau. 90 M, 10 CF Rich, deep and dark inky purple, opaque, extremely compact rim. Concentration is the sole adjective on my tasting note. There is so much of everything on the nose - ripe, slightly jammy dark fruits, licorice, coffee, and subtle blue flowery perfume. Similar tasting profile carries on to the mouthfeel. Lush, soft, but substantial structure. Currently very fruit driven. Delicious. Ripe fruit of Merlot marries well with freshness of Cab Franc. Honored to have tasted this with Annabelle herself. Amazing experience. 90++
