Also very yummy, but very young. The classic clerc milon cedar scents are starting to poke out but just slightly. Dark, brambly fruit and some oak also linger, but this one’s still tightly wound. The palate features kirsch, oak, and more brambly fruit with a cedary tinge hanging out in the background. The weight is what I think is the star here - not too heavy, but round and flowing, like a ballroom dancer taking the lead. Give it time but it will reward you.

The fruit is beautiful, elegant and smooth already. Jean who makes the Clerc Milon surprisingly still sort of flies under the radar but is rapidly ascending.

Wonderfully crafted well balanced Bordeaux. Very nice drinking now, needed 45 min to breathe...but can definitely age.
