Vintage 2014 | Brown rim with cardinalred colour. Nice bouquet with sweet cherries, laurel, vanilla and cacao. Multi layered. Fine texture and mouthfeel after aeration, some tannins still. Good acidity and balance. Fine spicyness. Excellent drinking now. | Paired with lambs saddle and aspargus. | At restaurant Pikaar in Hilvarenbeek

PnP. Dark red color with subtle purple hews. Similar to previous notes in that it’s more Napa than Bordeaux. Definitely young but has nice texture and depth. Baking spices and dark fruit dominate. Even has some Syrah elements. Don’t know why I don’t drink/buy more of this as it’s always pleasing.

Premier grand cru classe 2014. Ruby and brownish. Translucency. On the nose, forest floor, minerality, earthiness and roses/florals. On the palate, minerality, earthiness, florals/ roses and strong tannins. Bitter chocolate pairs with silk of tannins.
