Finish? Need to think about it a little more. Could be a bit of Pinot. Nope it's good I love

Elderberry and licorice. Seems whole cluster to me. Different from the other middle of the road stuff. The 14 is really good! To bad just 7 cases made it to California. Nothing wimpy or thin about this at all. From the Third Corner in Encinitas. I remember Asimov from the NYT being a big fan.

Had it at a wine tasting event at the Chelsea Vine Vault and it was everything I expect from a Willamette Valley Pinot that I wanted to head to Mustard Grill for a pork chop to accompany the wine!

I love this small Oregon PN producer. So gently complex. Understated. Such an interesting sweet and dark berry mix on the nose. Waves of strawberry and blackberry overlap. The palate shows clear heat and tannin on this pop and pour but should blow off. I look forward to this after being open for 24hrs. With only 400 cases, its a fun one to have in your cellar.

A little underwhelmed by my first experience the wine. Strawberry liquor with some earth and a little heat. Seemed more Carneros than WV. Maybe some time will help.

One of my new favorites! Gorgeous nose of spice and earth laced red fruit. Snappy palate. Just plain good!

2014 Estate Bottle. Another year in the bottle has done this wine well. Cherry and raspberry with the right amount of OR funk. Tannins integrating so well. The oak is present on the nose but more faint in the glass.

Birthday treat. One of my favorites! It doesn't hold up as well on day 2, so give it a quick chill if you have any leftover.

Dark burgundy color. Bright cherry fruit, followed by dark berries, & a brambly earthy undertone & finish. Good stuff.
