Drinking with Mom, Dad, and Emily in France at Alain Jaume! Color is garnet with orange. Nose is very stewed fruit and you can tell this is 10 years old. There are leather notes for sure, some good spice. Wow the taste is pepper and leather and tobacco. So deep and it is hard to even put into words. Absolutely amazing.

Drinking wonderfully now but should age gracefully. Thank goodness I have 2 more bottles in the wine fridge!

An impressive array of flavors like stewed plums, fresh figs and raspberries coated in licorice and cocoa. A firm tannin backbone but very easy to drink. An amazingly long finish. A great bottle of wine to enjoy tonight while watching game 7 of the World Series. I may be an Aggie but tonight orange is my favorite color. Go Astros!
