It’s ironic how a wine from one of the southern most regions of France is such winter comfort. Yet the leather and tobacco chewy pleasures of Veneur’s Ch. N de P really hits the spot of on a cold winters night.

After only a half hr this was singing. Dark fruit followed by leather and some powerful but smooth tannins. Very different from the Telegraphe Crau of same vintage. But delicious in it’s own right. Drinking beautifully right now.

We had this on 2/12-13/17. Boysenberry, graphite and spice. The tannins were all smoothed out so a long finish to this full bodied wine.
