Tons of sugar coated plum juiciness coupled with one of my all time favorite wine flavors - Pixy Stix!

Came off sweet and clumsy. Odd because I had remembered this wine differently and certainly more favorably.

Jammy, and sweeter than I'd like in a zin. Jammy plum and blackberry and a slight tart cranberry flavor. Average but Def not worth the $40 price point.

Bought at Pine Orchard, March 2017, $45. Very fruity, to almost sweet. Needed more structure. Prefer Geyersville for same price.

Classic example of Sonoma Zinfandel, but way too jammy and ripe for me.

Bought 4 different Zinfandels from Ridge to try a cross reference to see which one comes out on top. This one was the highest rated by experts but it came in last. It is SO jammy and lush that it is almost dessert wine. My wife says the bouquet more like jelly instead of jam. It was better after dinner and after it had some time to open up. The fruitiness came down, but the thickness did not. Heavy stuff. I would stick with the Geyserville Ridge Zin.

Pretty nice now. Very ripe. Black cherries. Fig. Some menthol. Paired with grilled steak.
