Blackberry, black cherry, licorice, eucalyptus, raspberry, mossy earth, oak and hints of mint. Great structure and moderate tannins.

Really fantastic with some air. Great concentration of dark berry fruit without being overdone. Deep floral too. Lots of energy! One of the best on release I can remember.

Dark cherry and plum with some savory notes. Young but surprisingly approachable for a 2013. Gracious mid-weight wine to drink over the next 15 years or so.

Young and drum tight. Underripe tannins, but the trajectory is solid and upright. Classic showing from Pride.

Floral notes, definitely could be decanted a bit.

Fantastic wine and an awesome pop & pour. So many of my beloved characteristics were present. Cloves, menthol, eucalyptus, mint, anise, vanilla, and dark fruits on the nose. On the palate great finesse and elegance with dark fruits, tobacco, and vanilla.

Deep inky in color with a short purple rim. Strong fruity nose with blackberries, blueberries, sweet plums, cherry pie, cloves, vanilla, cedar, licorice, leather, graphite, chocolates, dark coffee, mocha, metals, light vegetables, spices, herbs, tobacco and peppercorn. Full-bodied, bold, rich and jammy, with medium acidity and great long legs. Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, sweet plums, raisins, figs, graphite, cedar, spice box, licorice, earth, vanilla, leather, smoke, chocolates, mocha, dark coffee, spices and peppercorn. Long finish with grippy tannins and tangy cherries. This Cabernet Sauvignon is really enjoyable by itself. Well-balanced and great complexity, yet still young. Good right out of the bottle, but better after opening up. Needs an hour to open up properly. Will be great in 5 to 10 years. A blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot and 5% Merlot. Grapes are from: 72% Napa Valley and 28% Sonoma County. Aged in French oak barrels. Served from 4 magnum bottles. Thank you Mike for sharing. 14.6% alcohol by volume.
