Ripe black cherries, anise, effusive nose. Low tannins, good acidity. Simple and easy drinking for Nebbiolo.

So varietally correct and just nebbiolo being nebbiolo. Tar and roses, of course. Huge puckering tannic quality, baked red fruit, almost a raisin quality like amarone. Dusty, palate eviscerating dryness. Terrific and an extraordinary value.

A very pleasant Nebbiolo. The hallmark roses and tar are there, with crunchy red fruit. Soft and balanced, light but not thin. Excellent value. There's a cheaper Vajra Langhe Rosso, but that was too thin and acidic for me.

GD Vajra always stunning. Supple but understated Nebbiolo, red flowers and sweet earth.
