It is definitely a California pinot! My palate is so used to Oregon Pinot now, but this was a fun trip back to my home state and was a gift from a visiting friend. Dark cherry, good body, medium finish.

I am biased because Etude's Heirloom Pinot Noir was one of the wines we featured during my wedding weekend. This wine is restrained and smooth, with a toasted cherry flavor and a slight tannin finish.

Tasting notes from the Fort Worth Food & Wine Festival... The Pinot noir winner of the night in my opinion. Big bold flavors...very slight spice during the finish. Not the fastest moving legs which was intriguing for a Pinot.

Clear burgundy color. Red berry, earth, and heat on the nose. Lively raspberry, then mushroom, and a bit of funk. Alcohol a bit too present.
