Aged for some time or relatively young, Clape's CDR offers a briljant quality at the pricepoint. Bright style of syrah, without make-up. Always a winner!

Would be surprised to see a better CDR. Syrah on Schist!

There is a big difference between CdR and Cornas I'm pretty sure. The price...right?

I can't believe I'm saying this for CdR but this could benefit from hanging in the bottle for a while. Clape is producing mega value and it shines everywhere. This has the beginnings of the intensity of excellent northern Rhone. It's obvious this isn't from cornas or somewhere with the most distinct terroir, but the depth, spice, richness, and leather are resonating. It's cool to see this CdR from a big hitter like Clape and taste that this is not declassified juice, this is an honest ultra-high quality CdR with all typicity of the range on blast here. Benchmark for anyone needing to know what legit and true CdR is.
