I really should drink Chinon more often. Red fruits, perfumes, and floral. Drunk and enjoyed with breaded pork.

Bright aromatics--lots of rose petal and cranberry, with herbs and a sandy earth after some time in glass. Light color and/or extract (looks like a dolcetto). Soft structured but zippy, free-run only is plain to see. Pretty and lithe. KL says it's to be consumed young, but the 2013 would probably show better in 2018.

Cherries, strawberries, sour plum, and crushed gravel. Backdrop of green herbs - sage and thyme. Lean, pure, and expressive.

I'm normally partial to dry reds, but pleasantly surprised with this cab franc. It's light and complex - very drinkable

High acidity and lighter in body. Tasted it blind at first and I never would have guessed cab franc. Tart cranberry, strawberry, slightly herbaceous. This was a super interesting wine, and when considering the price, this was a great wine.

Had at a BBQ a few days ago so don't have best recollection. Served too warm, but overall taste was solid, with layers of stone fruit and dirt. Reasonably high acidity but some of spicy character may have been from the too-high serving temp.
