Vladi Sklavos teaches at the local agricultural school on the island of Cephalonia and then also makes wine from his own 6.5ha of vines and a few more that he buys grapes from. Robola is the great white grape of Cephalonia in the Ionian islands off the western coast of Greece, where the limestone soils and the influence of the towering Mt. Aenos give an exceedingly mineral and high-toned white that will please Chablis drinkers. Everything here is certified biodynamic and fermented with indigenous yeast. No filtration or fining is done.
